今晚代表CAFH参加宾州匹斯堡的哈里斯的竞选集会活动，宾州是每次大选的主要战场州，对于2024年的大选更为重要。主讲人是奥巴马总统，让我再次体会到了参与公民活动的快乐。我们在微小却也显著的细节中感受到了喜悦，从人们自制的哈里斯主题的T恤、闪亮的红白蓝头带，到陌生人分享他们为竞选活动敲门拜票的冒险。虽然我们都在这里倾听每位民选代表和公职人员的发言，我的目光却始终无法从会场地板和长椅上表达出来的社群力量上离开。
当民主党的各位代表在舞台上闪耀、通过扬声器震撼全场时，另一种才华则通过支持者们有趣的帽子和耐磨的网球鞋展现出来：大家用手臂在会场里营造出海浪般的动作，用脚踢踏出振奋的节奏，使参与者都十分欢乐地投入。民主党的多样性在年龄、肤色和信仰上得到了充分展示。
当我们的市长、州长、参议员和前总统告诉我们卡马拉哈里斯对我们的承诺时——我们感受到了这个夜晚的神奇魅力。随着每一次掌声、呐喊和跺脚，我们作为观众向她做出了承诺——支持她对我们国家的梦想和抱负。每一个标语在灯光下闪耀，每位坚持了整场活动站到脚疼的参与者因兴奋而前后摇晃着，希望的喜悦在会场中舞动着。

Attending the Harris rally tonight with the keynote speaker Obama was a reminder of the joys of civic engagement. We saw the joy unfold in small remarkable ways from homemade Kamala shirts, bedazzled red, white and blue headbands to strangers swapping stories of their door knocking adventures. While we were all there to hear from various public servants - I couldn't take my eyes off the community built on the floor and in the benches. As democratic talent lit up the stage and thundered through the speakers another talent showed itself in fun hats and hardy tennis shoes. The diversity of the Democratic party was on full display in age, color, and creed. As our mayor, governor, senator, and former president informed us of Kamala's promises to us
- we saw the magic of the evening. With each clap, chant, and stomp we the audience made our promise to her - to vote for her dreams and ambitions for our nation. As each sign glimmered in the light and each sore footed attendee shifted back and forth the joy of hope danced around the arena.
